Sally’s Music Circle for Infants-Age 5
Free classes of Sally’s Music Circle taught by Rob Zollman will be presented by the Brandon Town Library on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 AM during the month of July, 2020. Our first class is set for Friday, July 3.
Classes are primarily for infants through age 5 and their parents/caregivers. Older siblings are welcome — we like to think of them as “helpers”. Each class consists of lots of songs that go with all the activities kids love: fingerplay, egg shakers, sticks, scarf dances, lullabies, play-alongs and more. Wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing and be prepared to sing and play with your children.
About Sally’s Music Circle
Sally’s Music Circle was started in 1992 in Philadelphia by Dr. Sally Weaver, music learning theorist and co-founder of the Music Together program. Since its inception, Sally’s Music Circle has received numerous awards and recognition for giving thousands of children a joyous and fundamentally solid start in music.
Here in Vermont, Sally’s Music Circle is taught by Rob Zollman. Rob is a SMC certified instructor, teacher trainer and program co-founder. Rob also produced and performed in the 130 song, 8 volume collection from which our musical activities are drawn. You may purchase a CD and songbook, allowing you to take Sally’s songs home with you.
